night owl baby

Lately sleeping is incredibly difficult for me. It feels like my baby is most active when I am trying to sleep, which is anywhere around 10 pm or midnight, depending how late my husband works. It's driving me crazy! I don't know what to do to calm him down. It doesn't help that we eat dinner together late, either. :(

I heard that movement soothes them, just as if they were out of the womb. Hmm. I shall try gentle movements. Slow dancing sounds nice! I am most active on weekends when I work 8 hours. The week I am mostly free, I will try to do work out class but mostly I stay indoors to avoid the heat.

If my son is keeping late hours, which is often, I get out of bed and slow dance a little. It seems to soothe him. With you eating later though that may not help as much. Nutrients seem to give them a boost.
