not feeling right!

So first off I am 37+4 and have gestational diebetes. So naturally at week 35 I started to get weekly nst tests.  And all have been normal. Even today's.  However my sugars have been super low. When I spoke with the diebetes Dr today she just lowered my insulin intake by two units for each meal. I have been very dizzy light headed and just not feeling right these last few days. However no one I speak to seems to take me too seriously. I'm really worried cause baby boy is not full term however if my placenta is not doing it's job I do not want to jeopardize mine or my unborn sons health. Any suggestions ladies. Thanks in advance

I'm diabetic type2, my ob and perinatal specialist agree my baby is to be induced or c-section by 38wks. Luckily i am not on insulin just daily meds but I am extremely careful with my diet and work to keep my levels under 100. I always feel "whoozy or dizzy"  if my levels are under 40 or over 120.  I keep a log of what I eat and how I feel thru out day and take with me to show Dr's along with my "numbers" I check 4x a day , fasting and 2hrs after each meal, before snack. It can be frustrating and at times annoying but hang in there and keep telling Dr how u feel. Good luck

37-40 weeks is considered full term. Congratulations you've made it to the end. Anytime your baby comes, as of now, he would be considered full term

If ur baby was to be born today he would be fine. I have gd too and when they  told me to take. A certain amount of insulin the same thing was happening to me. I just lowered my insulin my self and recorded it. If sugar got better and I felt better  in my next visit i told them what I did. Ofcourse they were not happy cause they wanna be perfect blah blah blah, but I did what was best for me and my baby. It's ur body I can not tell you how much of a guessing game it ia they do
