obligatory c section

I gave birth to my first child, and 5 years later had a c section for my second. Now I'm pregnant again and I will have my third child a year and two months after my second. The Dr. said he wont even consider a vbac. And I really wanted one. He said it was too soon. Has any other moms had a vbac aprox a year after their c section? Is it possible? Or is my Dr. right? I just really wanted to give birth to my last child.

It's a greater chance of your  c section scar tearing during labor having a vbac from the pushing since your scar is still new being a little over a year  it's takes time to heal  properly from the inside out I did have a successful vbac but it was almost 8 years in between   Plan on having another vbac  this time around but my doctor told me always a chance of another c section but lesser now since I did have a vbac  4 yrs ago good luck
