postpartum experience?

OK so I just had my baby 5 days ago and he was my 4th and my last lol. I have been having the most painful back spasms ever that start from my lower back and go all the way up to my neck and sometimes the back of my head. I've never experienced this b4 after any of my other pregnancies and was wondering if anybody else has ever and What did u do about it? I have pain pills that I was prescribed of course for pain after pregnancy but they do nothing for the spasms.

My back does it too. I had a c-section on the 22nd. My son is a little over a week now and my back does the same exact thing!! Don't know why either!! I go to the doctor Monday and I will find out why.

It's possible that the epidural does have something to do with it. The catheter could have been slightly crooked or something like that which could happen to anyone at any labor.
I had to have a spinal shot for my csection and I have pain almost all of the time radiating out in a circle from the spot of the shot. Unfortunately, you can't choose not to have a spinal when you have to have a csection.  I hope that it isn't permanent and that you are able to find relief!

Could be a leak from your epidural. Rare complication but let your Dr know. Is fixable :)

Sounds like a dr question. I have never heard of that or had it myself but it doesn't sound normal
