pregnant after scoliosis surgery

Ive had my scoliosis surgery 2 years ago and have titanium rods in my spine. I'm now 14 weeks pregnant and couldnt be any happier! Has anyone with scoliosis surgery share their pregnancy and birthing experiences?

My  best friend has rods in her back. She could not get the epidural because of the rods, she was in flavor for 21 hrs and she said it was the worse thing ever. She never dilated either, so they took the baby by C-section and shes doing wonderful. Both of them.

my best friend had scoliosis surgery..she has rods in her back too..she has had three babies all perfectly fine since the surgery :) i dont think she is allowed an epidural, so had three natural births..but i dont think she even suffered much back pain!

Congratulations! I don't have any advice or experience with your question, but my younger brother had the same spinal fusion surgery 2 years ago so I just felt like I needed to tell you that I hope everything turns out healthy for you and your baby!
