labour?

Feel silly for asking,  but I'm a ftm and have no idea about where you feel contractions. I keep getting like period pains in my lower abdomen and lower back feel like they last ages but really only a min. I just wondered if your  supposed to feel them in your whole belly?  My whole belly does go hard when j get the pain. And I'd say I've had about 4 lots of these pain in about 7hours. Is this slow labour?

Hard belly only is braxton hicks...lower belly labour will progress and get stronger, longer, and more intense if its time...

Just time them, if it becomes every minute I think you should really go to the hospital. It sounds like labor. God bless you and baby!! How exciting! And there is no such thing as a silly question.
