puppy love <3

Can dogs sense that you are pregnant?  My black pug puppy who just turned one was always a daddys boy but now lately he just can't seem to get enough of his mommy.  He always has to be near me or on my lap lol.  It's very cute.  Anyone else experience this?

My golden can hear the move through my belly. He'll lay his head down on me and sometimes when the baby moves he'll follow it with his nose. It's adorable. He used to come over and just plop down on top of me for some lovin. Now he lays down a couple feet away and crawls over to me lol. Dewey is a very special dog. I have him in service dog training and use him to help train friends pets all the time. He's very conscientious of his size in relation to others. We have a cat and 5 baby rats. If one of the rats escapes during play time he will pick it up and bring it back to us. Never leaves anything more than slobber on them. He's also super gentle with other newborns and toddlers and has been around so many other pregnant women and animals... I have no doubt he knows exactly what's going on. I was hoping I could have him in the birthing room with me, some hospitals allow it, but my hospital has a strict no pets policy which ***** bc I make sure he's part of everything so I feel bad leaving him out of a very important moment like that. He'll be 2 years old in August.

I have a black Pug too! She has always been protective of me, but it's worse when I'm prego. My husband can't even kiss me without her like jumping up onto his leg, like get away from her! Lol She isn't aggressive though. Doesn't bite or growl. She just doesn't want me to be touched. She loves my other kids though. They pet and cuddle her, she is very good with them. When they were babies she would sleep by them and snuggle them. She'll be 5 in May.
