I was diagnosed before I even started having kids. I was 17 and started out qith mild carpel tunnel in both wrists, now they are both severe and I need surgery. Somedays my hands feel like noodles and the numbness and pain is irritating. Mine is so bad my wrists and fingers will lock up. Where some braces and see how that helps. After you have the baby go see a neurologist and discuss surgery although it ends up coming back in the long run. Thats what I plan to do. Hope you get some relief. I'm 34 weeks 3 days and I definitely have days that it flares up.

Arm braces will help with pain, movement will help with swelling & numbness. For most women, unless you already had it before getting pregnant, it is directly related to swelling & will go away once baby is born. Stay extra hydrated too-it combats water retention.

Thanks mamas...I get mostly during the middle of my sleep at night. Raising my hand isn't helping. What's crazy is I work with a computer mostly all day but don't seem to have my CTS.

Im suffering from the same. I use braces at night also and it helps but I also ice my wrists and lower hands on days when the pain and numbness seem unbearable.

I have it now and as swelling gets worse my fingers get more pins and needles. I use braces at night and if pain is super bad then during day as well. The doc told me I could raise my hands above heart level to help as well

I feel for you mama! I had that bad in both hands/arms during my first pregnancy.  I bought arm braces to wear at night that are made for carpal tunnel.  It helps a lot, but still uncomfortable.  That part of pregnancy was the worst for me.  It didn't go away until 2 months or so post pardom. Blessings the rest of the way for you! :)
