old wives tale

Today I went to my OB appt babies heart beat was strong stayed between 150-155 so what does the old wives tale? We are keeping baby a surprise but its still fun to see the prediction!

I'm having a boy, and his heart rate has been pretty consistently at 163.

I hit post by accident. I wasn't done! I wrote LOL too so my comment wouldnt sound as snobby !! Oops.  im having a girl.  Most check ups have been  upper 150s & lower 160s

My two girls have fast heartbeats then my four boys did lol, but I've also heard opposite! I think its just an old wives tale and its different for each mommy :)

The higher a heart beat like over 140 is supposed to be a girl. Anything below is supposed to be a boy. My daughters was really high but the boy I'm pregnant with now is normally around 150 so I really don't believe it.

My Ob and u/s tech said exact opposite. Higher rate tended to be girls.

The higher the heart beat is a boy. My mom said this at our first U/S. Im 9 weeks 2 days, baby heart beat was 150 (at 7 weeks 4 days) but you never know. ;)
