Oh and my doctor will not induce bc of there is,a small chance of rupture with pitocin so she will not mix pitocin and vbac. Some doctors will though. She doesn't feel it's worth it. Im ok with it though I was induced with first child and hated it.
I wanted a vbac but my doctor told me only 30% are successful. I really hope this works out. I guess the reasoning have to play to.
Omg that is sooo wonderful to hear! :-) very happy for you mamma. I am also a planned vbac and my doctor is same as yours lol I carry to 41 weeks if I don't go into labor csection. She said she does vbacs all the time and hospital we are at with her are also very experienced with them im so glad I get this opportunity. Not enough ppl do I feel :-(
What is the process to find out if you can have a vbac. I really want to try, my first turned his head at 91/2 cm so they did a csectioni am only 6 weeks along but just want. To know how they decide if it will work
Congratulations on finding out its a boy. Happy to hear 2nd scan went well:)
I'm not sure I didn't ask that I was.asking so.many other questions lol. I'll def. Ask when I go back In 4 weeks. I'm not sure if I'd want to get.induced though it makes the chances go up alot. When I had my son vaginal in 2010 I went to almost 42 weeks and had to be induced so I'm hoping I don't have to again.
Me too! My dr has been doing vbacs for years and has never had a rupture or life threatening event either. He also said I will be allowed to go until 41wks but offered me the chance at being induced as long as we're still doing fine. Will your dr induce at 41wks or only option is another section?
