severe pain

So a bit of background.. the other day I was brining ny two year olds empty stroller down about 4 stairs.. not carrying it just carefully pushing it and after the last stair I went to stand up straight and had a intense sharp pain. Figured I just pulled something. Anyhoo last night I had to get up to go to the bathroom and I went to roll over and had such severe pain I could barely roll over or get up. When I finally did I could not stand up straight. I had to get to the bathroom hunched over. After I went to the bathroom the pain subsided a little bit and I could stand up and by this morning is has subsided. Do you think baby was just pressing down on my bladder to the point that he was causing this pain because my bladder was full? U have a checkup wed so I will double check. I'm 32 weeks 3 days.

You may have just stretched a muscle to far. The stoumach muscle moves above and below your stoumach the further you get. As they get weak for not being used they can get over worked easily especailly if you dont exercise. With my second pregnancy i pulled a mucsle so bad it bruised aeound my belly button the doc just said to take it easy and no lifting. It doesnt affect the baby.

Thanks guys. I kno its not sciatic pain as I suffer from it before and during my pregnancy. Never felt round ligament pain like this but it's what it probably is. I'll double check We'd

I would agree that it is probably just the unfortunate normal. Definitely keep an eye on it. If it gets to bad or won't stop, call the doctor. Otherwise I would wait till the next appt.

Was it through your hip and into the leg, or through your uterus, feeling like you pulled a muscle in your abs?  Sciatica can cause a very intense sharp pain trough your hip leg and lower back.  Round ligament pain can feel like you just pulled a muscle in your abdomen, and can hurt a lot.  Neither of them are cause for concern though, just normal pregnamcy symptoms.  I would still bring it up to your doctor though!

Could be sciatic nerve. If you bending over shifted the baby, it could have settled on the nerve. Hope it gets better.
