short story with question

As of tomorrow 25 days more to go...baby is head down but on my dr appt on monday I got checked to see if any dilation has started n turns out I hve Not started any sort of anything :/ I was surprised since my privates feel so sore and im still working n stand around alot at work.  I guess im just ready to give birth but my precious little boy is comfy in there. still need some time to go...hopefully by my next appointment something has started to happen...has any moms out there started the last few days like me but then went into full labor right before or at 4o weeks?

35+4 and nothing happening either. I'm a FTM due on 11/15 and I haven't felt contractions/cervix pain/thinning, nothing! It worries me sometimes, but doc says I shouldn't: "it will all come in time" she says :-)

I think I agree. I'm 39 weeks tomorrow and the other day I was a 1 and only 40%. I hope things change quickly for me (and soon!)

I thought I'd comment because no one else had :( I'm a ftm so no personal experience but from my research, yes, that is 100% possible :) dilation is so weird, a person can be 3cm for a month, or go from 0-8 in 2 hours, labor is hormonal. Are you thinned/effaced at all? I'm 37;weeks due the 11/04 and my last weeks appointment I was 1cm and 80% thinned, it hurts my cervix so bad every time my daughter moves. I find out tomorrow what my progress is if any. Tgr pain your feeling is probably "lightening" your little guy is wedging his head lower and lower Into the birth canal :) that's a good thing!!!
