should i induce myself?
I am 36 weeks pissy and very irritable. I have a placenta syst and baby is still head down. Blood flow has increased in umbilical cord and doctors wont do anything yet. I have an appointment monday and ultrasound. Im thinking of requesting a scheduling c section. Increased back pain and pressure. Any thought on the situation?
What makes you think flow in the cord is increased? Early induction should be only for standard obstetric indications according to ACOG. Maternal discomfort is not an indication for early induction. Placental cyst is not an indication as they are benign findings. Is the baby in distress?
This is not my first child. I had twins 3 and half weeks early and they were average 6.4lbs 19in. And 5.13lbs 18in. This baby was measuring 5.3lbs at 33.5 weeks and is still measuring 2 weeks ahead.
