Babies delivered after 28 weeks can usually survive with medical help. Go as long as you can but don't feel guilty delivering early.

I.have crohns my first I made it to 34 weeks and I'm 36 wks now with my second. Both were/are killing me bc of my medical issues, but in my option baby didn't choose this, I did. So I will keep baby in as long as I can do they are healthy.

Baby should be fine. Preemies have some delays but as they get older the catch right up. You don't want to cause long term problems with your body. Baby will need you as strong as possible. Babies require a lot of love and effort.

This is one for the docs to decide, they'll weigh up how much your body can handle & your baby's needs. Baby needs you as healthy as possible to look after them when they're here, a completely shut down you won't be able to look after the baby. Good luck.

I don't understand why your doctor hasn't done so yet. And why would you think you are being selfish? You are looking out for you and the baby. If you are stress, the baby gets stress. Maybe if you express your concern and suggest it to your doctor.

I dont think u are being selfish if you are induced earlier. Healthy mumma is healthy baby and the more you run your body into the ground the harder it would be for your body to support your baby. If the doctors say it is best to induce now i would do as they say. Again if you are barely functioning then it will be harder for u to carry your baby. Good luck and its not your fault in any way that youa re unwell and unable to carry full term. Xx
