I didn't have any until a few days ago.. I noticed them after applying lotion on my belly the other day and most of them are around my abdomen/ under the belly button area. I am currently at 36 weeks. Hope I don't get any more than what I already have because my mom barely have any after having me and my brother.

I call it my road map of life and love lolz. I got loads with my 2nd and no new ones with 3rd and now 4th but they are still there lol they are white now so at least I don't have the bright red fresh ones. You could've dropped a little? My friend had none till she was a week away from due and she got them when her belly dropped.

I only got about 4 stretch marks with my first but my second gave me so many my stomach looks horrible now. And he was only a few ounces bigger than his brother at birth. I gained the same amount of weight too. Who knows. My husband calls them love marks. :)

The elasticity of your skin changes. Honestly no matter what we do there not very preventable. She may have just had a growth spurt and stretched your skin faster than it could keep up with.
