I'm 34 weeks and got pregnant with an iud, I guess it was falling out, went to the doctor and then a week later I got a positive pregnancy test
Thank you all this was very helpful. They did remove mine. I'm seven weeks pregnant and yes my pregnancy is high risk as of now I need to be in bed rest there's a high chance I may have a miscarriage. Praying and hoping I don't go thru that.
As far as removal if its found my Dr said its best to remove it as early as possible the farther along u r the greater chance of miscarriage
I did and my Dr checked me amd couldn't find it once I hit 26weeks and was on the safe zone she had one xray taken to find it but its not there. So we assume it fell out. Currently 32weeks good luck!
Congrats... I got pregnant with my second with an iud in. The only concern the dr had was when taling it out may cause miscarriage. Good luck
I am 34 weeks and I got pregnant with the Copper iud. The iud was in place at my first ultrasound then it moved next to the sac. I've been going to a high risk Dr since day 1 every other week. They gave my progesterone injections and have been monitoring my cervix very closely. They say you are at a higher risk of infection If the iud stays in. They also say If they remove the iud that it can disrupt the pregnancy. Tall to your Dr see What they say. I was very worried in the beginning but everything has been going pretty good. You may also have occasional spotting and they usually say no sex with the iud. If you have any other questions feel free the message me. Good luck!
My sister is the proud mother of a 4 year old daughter that she too became pregnant with on the IUD. They never found hers either. They believe her body may have ejected it without her knowledge possibly during intercourse or a menstrual cycle. Or it could possibly have embedded itself into her uterine wall
Have you checked in with your doctor? I had a friend that this happened too and there are some risks.
I dont know personally but i would wonder where the IUD is and what if anything needs to be done.
