well, we really did want a girl, buuuuut..

I guess the good Lord has other plans, and He blessed us with a handsome baby BOY!!! he will be given my daddy's & brother's middle name.. so his name will be Colby Lee!! - my brother passed away from cancer in 1996.. 14 days away from his 4th birthday. so my parents are extremely excited about that. everyone wanted me to have a girl, including myself, but I truly feel as if my brother whispered in God's ear & had this sweet boy sent to me for a reason.. I hope he has his brown eyes & curly brown hair! b/c I got our mama's blue eyes & my fiancé has greenish/blue eyes.. that'll be an amazing surprise!!! (((:

I am beyond excited.. he's healthy, active, and ALL I asked of God was for our baby to be okay - he waved his little fingers/hands at us to say hello, moved during the entire scan, kicked his legs, etc.

the tech. even said with me being so small, he's probably going to be ALL up in my ribs once I start feeling him kick.. he was all over the place!! kicking, stretching, like he can't wait to get out!! lol

anyway, just thought I'd update! I tried messaging a few of you.. so I hope everyone sees this!

Oh it has been torture! I really want both genders so we'll be trying for more for sure :) Ill be happy with either gender but since im due the day after my birthday, id just love a total mini me! Congrats on your prince! I love the name :)

@Farah_Remo: you're absolutely right.. after we saw the gender in 2D & we started looking at the 3D, as soon as I saw his face I was IN LOVE! God knows what he's doing.. and I think my sweet baby brother in Heaven had a part in it I'm sure! lol (((:

@86countrygirl: I swear, I really thought it was going to be a girl, but as soon as I walked in that room, the tech. asked if we had any bets going on what the gender was going to be.. I said nope, God knows I want a girl, but as long as this baby still has a heartbeat I'm thankful!

Congratulations!!!! So exciting to find out :) Im 20 weeks 3 days and still dont know, I'm going crazy about it too but I'm with you on hoping for team pink :) A little prince would be a blessing though.

Congrats! I kept thinking girl for us, but we're having a boy too. I told my hubby, I think God has a special plan for this baby and knew having a boy was the best. Like you, I'm just glad for a healthy baby!

Congrats! I'm having a boy as well due on 9/27. I believe that God gives you exactly what you need in your life just at the right time. Even though you wanted a girl, once your baby boy arrives I'm sure you can never picture life without him :)

Awe that's my sister n laws bday!  I'm due the 26th of September my son thinks he'll come the 18th he said and my daughter doesn't really care she's just glad she gets to still have her own room! ;) LOL

Congratulations. Little boys are fun, I have 3 of them. I was worried that this was a boy as well but to my happy surprise we're getting a little girl. She well definitely have that protection your were taking about. Lol.

Yea!!! Congrats mama!!! How exciting.   We found out Boy last week!!! I had always thought my first baby would be a girl,  but as the last week has passed I now can't imagine it any other way!! Yea for little boys :) so happy little colby is healthy and active!
