Oh sorry to hear that. I completely understand the lack of energy. Just keep your chin up and don't let it get you down. Taking up a hobby sounds like a good idea especially since this will give you the opportunity to try something new that you might not have had time to do before
It's more than that it's the long days and standing and moving for 8-12 hours at a time it's very demanding work it was fun to do before pregnancy but now just don't have the energy to keep up thinking and moving fast is two qualities that makes a great chef two things I just can't give right now... abs I would love Zofran but my fiance is totally against the ideal be thinks it will affect the baby no matter if me the doctor our God told him otherwise, I feel defeated most days
Sorry to hear that :(
My husband is a Chef and just smelling him after work made me feel sick in the beginning of my pregnancy. But, instead of not working, I recommend that you - Get a prescription of Zofran from your doctor. It's the best anti nausea out there. - Get some essential oils, lavender or lemon, put a little dabble under your nose to help with the smells - assign one of your line cooks to more pungent jobs like cleaning shelf fish etc.
Hope this helps and that you feel better soon!! :)
You should talk to your Dr about the nausea. He can prescribe you medication to help with the nausea so maybe you can go back to work as a chef :) . Doesn't hurt to ask
