too sick to eat

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and am nauseous all day. It's so hard to eat because of it.i don't throw up that much but the nausea is just so bad. I'm worried that because of it I'm not giving my baby enough nutrients. I do take prenatals but I'm not sure if that's enough. Will my baby be ok?

I'm 11+5 & have had horrible nausea, too. I was first put on b6 & unisom at night. Helped some, but not enough. Added phenergan. Helped greatly at first, but back to square one. She also prescribed zofran, but haven't tried it yet.

I'm with you 13weeks tomorrow and am sick all day. Don't vomit much but that doesn't lesson how I feel. All I eat is two weetbix twice a day and my tablet. This is my 4th pregnancy. My first I eat nothing for 14weeks just my tablet and a piece of bread and she was healthy as and still is.

Prenatals can make you sick the first trimester. I would switch to a lower dose chewable or gummy version to see if that helps and take them at night before bed so you can sleep through it. Also zofran was amazing! I lived off that stuff.

Ya i guess the good thing is I don't throw up that much. Maybe once a day. It's Just Nausea That doesn't let me eat. I drink plenty of water throughout the day. Thank you!!!

Try asking the doc for zofran it's the only thing that saved me this pregnancy! It does cause severe constapation, so make sure u take some type,of stool softner with,it! But seriously if it weren't for zofran I don't think I would have maid it this far! Which is almost 35 weeks

Tomorrow marks week 10 for me of my 4th pregnancy. Each pregnancy has gotten worse as far as the morning sickness goes to the point that Friday night I went to the ER because I couldn't keep anything down, including water and my anti - nausea medicine. After two liters of fluids and two rounds of Zofran (the anti - nausea medicine I'm on) I was still dehydrated and they ended up keeping me overnight to get my stomach to settle down and give me more fluids. I tell you this not to scare you or anything but because you have to make sure you're still getting plenty of fluids and eating what you can, when you can. I suffer from hyperemisis which is the severe form of morning sickness but if you're worried about not being able to eat and the constant nausea, talk to your doctor.  Chances are they can prescribe either Zofran or another anti - nausea medicine.  Good luck!

Yes absolutely, sickness is supposed to be a sign baby is healthy, this is my 3nd pregnancy and both times very sick, last time was better, i was sick alot the first but felt ok in between, this one i havnt actually been sick but feel it constantly which is much worse, can barely eat but it will pass, you find certain things you can keep down, im 8weeks too, dont stress your baby will be perfectly fine, good luck :)
