Yeah, my cousin was told she was going to have a girl and ended up having a boy. It can happen, especially if the sonogram is done early or if baby is in the wrong position.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I found out at 14 weeks that I was having a girl! She was definitely a girl. Now I'm pregnant with a boy and he was checked at 15 weeks, 20 weeks, and 37 weeks. SO I am hoping he is definitely a boy!! Hahah

My own doctor said not to rush into getting anything in specific color until the baby is born. He was honest and knew not all ultrasounds are correct.

Its best to wait until the 20 week gender scan, some women rush it top much. Unless you get the harmony blood test early on which is accurate.

The only sure way to know is either wait (duh lol) or by amniocentesis, which I don't recommend because it's painful and dangerous, heightens your risk for a miscarriage. And besides, those are given for medical purpose not to find out the sex of the baby. I really hope they don't say "it's a boy" and we have a girl! That'll suck being we have 2 girls and are dying for a little boy. I've never wanted to see a penis so bad! Lol

I have heard of this in the past and I wonder with having 4d ultrasounds it should be no way they get it wrong.  Mines told me at 16 weeks we were having a girl

That happened to my friend. All ultrasounds said girl so she gave away all her boy stuff from previous babies, then sure enough it was a boy! Guess they're not 100% :-/
