Hope you did get a call back from your doctor and that the doctor has been able to help you with regard to getting better soon.
Thank you jemma116 still super uncomfortable and running off very little sleep now. I called my doctors office this morning just waiting for a call back. In the meantime im drinking only water and cranberry juice
Im gonna call my doctors office first thing tomorrow. Bcuz im pretty sure its shouldn't be getting worse. And ive exhausted all my options
Make an urgent appointment to see your doctor.
If it is hurting to pee and the pain has got worse over the last few days, sounds highly likely that you have Cystitis (a bladder infection). The infection could be anywhere along the urinary tract.
Whatever you do, do NOT hold your urine. Even though it hurts, you must go and pee. Make sure that you drink lots of water - at least 2 litres per day. Don't drink more than that unless your doctor says as having too much water can be just as dangerous as not enough.
To help ease the pain as you urinate (if you are not breastfeeding) drink a large glassful of water with a teaspoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda. You can do this 1 ever hour for 3 hours only. If you are breastfeeding ask your midwife or the doctor if this is OK for you to drink.
What this does is neutralises the acidity in the urine that is causing the pain and discomfort as you pee. You can also drink freshly squeezed lemon juice with water as this too will neutralise the acidity in the urine. Yes, lemons are naturally acidic, but once the juice enters the stomach the composition of it changes.
Don't forget to get to see your doctor urgently who will more than likely prescribe an antibiotic for you and also drink plain water as mentioned above.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Yes I agree with above.
Time to see the doctor.
I'd go get checked. I had a utiand mine got worse like your explaining! Contractions hurt to get checked. Utis are common after birth too so it's probably what's going on.
I have my lil girl 4 days ago n same as u only got a few scrapes. But it finally stopped hurting to go pee on day 3. Id call ur obgyn
It sounds like you might have a bladder infection. Can you go to your doctor and have a urine sample checked?
I tore with my first really bad. I took almost a month before I was back to normal. They sent me home with estrogen cream and little pads that are called TUCKS pads that u can but at a pharmacy but if u are still uncomfortable call ur doctor thats what they are there for. good luck hope it gets better
It will stop eventually your vaginal is pretty much traumatized and it will take a bit of time to heal even when I had to have a c section with my 2nd it still hurt like hell to pee but the pain went away faster than when I did a vaginal for my first.
Yes it hurts bad. Both of my other births I used the squirt bottle with very warm water and pee then stop and pee with the hot water always squirting. Sometimes I'd refill the bottle for only one pee. I got this hurricane spray that numbed it which worked very well. Got it on my second birth. Ask your Dr they might know something better
I didn't tear at all with my first similar experience just scars and what felt like a rug burn the squirt bottle works for me if it had really warm water in it and I would squirt it the whole time I use the bathroom especially after it was sore for a few weeks but it's way better than having stitches or c section so try a Lil of every thing see what makes you feel the best unfortunately it will be some discomfort until you heal
When I tore with my first my doctor gave me a spray that you can get OTC it's called dermoplast and theres another one called lanacane and it numbs the area it was a real life saver. I would try it but I'd also let your doctor know just in case there is no other issue like infection or UTI
With my first i tore really bad, and remember how painful it was to heal. I was not comfortable for at least three weeks. I would say since you had no tearing and are still so very uncomfortable, that it would be a good time to call the dr and get it checked out. Hope you feel better soon!
Bump, i have no clue but good luck! Have you tried telling your dr?
