Hepatitis B is the only vaccine, but they will also give vitamin k (super imp for the baby's clotting system) and eye ointment. They don't always check for the iron, but they will check the bilirubin level and do a newborn screen test which will check common genetic problems.
At the hospital they check iron etc. that's one poke on the foot then they usually do a hepatitis B shot then roughly ever 2 months the baby gets Dtap,Hib ,Polio,Pneumococcal, Rotavirus (hope i spelled them all right)but they can mix some together usually 2 pokes with the needle the babies get over it so fast
Same here... just so curious . I research everything and giving myself anxiety
Not really sure, I'm a first time mom so I haven't been through that. I also don't know if it depends on your country.. But from what I read, first vaccine babies get at hospital is hepatitis B
