was your first baby earlier or later than expected due date?

I'm a ftm and was wondering if it's more common to go past your due date with your first or do they make their entrance early.  I'm due Dec 28 and I really hope to have a 2014 baby.

My first (BB) was due March 4th and arrived on his own, March 20th.  The doctor said that baby was very "post-mature."  The placenta had started to harden and was turning whitish.  Scary when I think about it now.  He was a healthy 8 pds.7 oz. and 22 inches long.  Doctor's back in 1970, didn't induce, like doctor's do today, when baby's are overdue.

Second baby (BG) due on Jan. 7th and arrived on Jan 9th on her own.  She was 7 pds.10 1/2 ozs.  21 3/4 inches long.

My 1st baby was due Nov 15th and she came Nov 7th. Second baby was due April 15th and came April 5th. This baby is due August 2nd and I think he's sticking around until we pull him out on Tuesday. My two oldest were scheduled c sections and I went into labor both times with them before the scheduled date and due date. It's all on baby.

My first child was due on the 9th and he come on the 9th weighing 7lb 8, ☺ my second child was a week late weighing 8lb 13 so had to be induced 2 weeks early with baby number 3 to make sure she didnt get stuck like my 2nd and she weighed 7lb 6, im now pregnant with baby number 4 and also due 28 dec, congratulation everyone.

All three of mine were late, my second was late by 2 weeks and he has to be induced

Im 30 weeks with my third girl. My first baby came EXACTLY on time. I went in labor on my due date. My mucus plug came out that morning about 6am and i was only 1 1/2 cm dialated when i went to the dr that morning at 8am. Then labor kicked in around 8 or 9 pm.

My first daughter was born 2 weeks before my due date weighing 6 pounds 9 oz and my second daughter was born a week before my due date weighing 6 pounds 10 oz

My DD was born exactly 1 week before her due date. She was my first and my after broke on its own. The contractions started immediately and she was born 15 hours later.  I Have been told multiple times,  that first babies are usually late. But it's definitely not the case for everyone!

My 1st and 2nd came 5 days early. I don't think it's common to be late I think it's just whenever baby is ready. =)

My mother was 3wks early with her first...my sister and I were both 2wks late. My first was born on her due date and my second was born exactly 39wks my sister in laws first was 3wks early due to toximia and had to be induced her second come in his own 2weeks early. Every woman and pregnancy is different, the babies come when they are ready or when they are forced to vacate :)

She tried coming at 32 weeks, but the hospital stopped the contractions.
