water breaking..how can you tell?

I'm 36 weeks..sometimes I feel a strange sensation down there like a bubble or I'm passing something like I can't explain it  through my vagina. My underwear is wet damp or the sides of my legs feel wet? But I smell my underwear and of course it smells like urine. Ill wipe and it smells like nothing. No weird colored fluids I'm noticing either. Baby has slowed down a lot on the moving department but I'm unsure if that's normal since I'm further along. What in the heck is going on.. if I call my doc theyll say go in to l and d. So honestly what should I do. How do you really know when your water breaks?

The doctor said its extreamly unlikely it did break. But she has had a few patients that had their water break like a trickle. She encouraged me to come in but I'm not really wanting to...I've been 3 times through out the pregnancy and I'm betting this time ill be sent home as always which can be good to but I just feel stupid for going in when nothing is wrong.

With my first I had a small leak of fluids over s course of 3 weeks. Its better to get checked than not. Better safe than sorry so to say. Infection can take place if its not monitored and you are leaking...

Hang in there hun, I feel your pain I did the same thing (back n fourth from l&d) with my 3rd child. It's so frustrating I know (especially the looks) but it's better to go n be sent home then wait too long. By the time I went in for the last time with that pregnancy, my water had broke two days prior n I wasnt sure if it really had, so I waited for contractions (which never cane) but I waited so long that I had a fever & was getting pretty weak. My father-in-law had to practically drag me to the hospital cuz I was so tired of being sent home. I didn't get sent home that day, they induced me ! My son was born healthy and well, but they Said if I'd waited any longer it coulda been bad.   I was 36 weeks. So as ridiculous as if may feel, it's always better to be over cautious:)

Yea my contractions aren't going away..they did a more in depth test to see if my water did break cause the contractions look bad. Honestly though they dont feel bad at all. Just uncomfortable. I am scared this time I'm actually going to have to have a baby and all of the sudden I want to go home. Im scared and I can't believe today may be the day. Ahhh..lets seriously hope not. Not ready all the sudden nope lol

They sent me home cause I'm not dialated.  But now that I'm home my contractions are getting worse. Probably a false alarm considering this has happened before. I wish I could judt relax
