This happened with my first and my waters broke at 5:30 in the morning but I didn't get any contractions called the hospital at 8 and they asked me to come straight in when I got there they checked it was definitely my waters and when they figured it was I was sent home and booked in for induction at 8am the following morning unless I wont into labour naturally which I didn't so had to be induced. They told me they wont let you go for more than 48 after your waters break as the risk of infection is too high. Good luck.

There is more chances of infections if the waters have broken and no contractions.

My waters broke with my older 1 But had no contractions for good few hours. Had to call the midwife and head straight to hospital. They gave me some kind of pills to induce me.
