Worried :-/

Im 9 weeks pregnant n the drs have told me i have a threatened miscarriage cause my hormone levels r so low. Im worried and i dont kno what to do. Is there anything i can do to help my pregnancy???

Thanx guys. Well the last 2 weeks have gotten worse. I started bleedin again n i havent stopped. They still say im havin a miscarriage but my hormimone levels keep goin up slowly. Im hopin for the best but thinkin the worst. The drs dont really kno much. I have to get bloodwork done twice a week.

My OB prescribed me oral progesterone gel tablets at 9 weeks for the same issue. They kept me on them until I was 12weeks.... I am now 25weeks with a healthy boy due in July. I would ask about the oral or vaginal hormones.

The er won't do anything. Take it easy and keep hydrated.

Agreed. Ask your obgyn asap if taking a vaginal progesterone supplement is an option for you. Many times this is all that's needed to make a pregnancy successful. It's taken for several weeks into the first trimester, until the placenta takes over the hormone production. Congrats and my thoughts are with you!!

They told my friend the same thing. She is now 28 weeks and healthy. If there was really a cause for concern they would have done some sort of intervention to increase your progesterone levels. Let them know that they scared you with this comment and hopefully they can put your mind at ease. Not all doctors have great bedside manner. Good luck!
