I've had 3c-sections. This baby will be #4. I understand your pain. Your Dr should be able to help with meds. Remember take it easy!!! Don't rush the process or it will reverse on you. Take care..
Is your skin near the insicion warm and do you have a fever? Those are the big signs of infection or a hemorrhage. Also, what meds are you taking and are you actually taking them? It will hurt when you sneeze, cough, laugh, bend, lift things... My insicion actually hurt/tingled as the nerves grew back for 6 months after my csection. Call your doctor if you are really concerned or start feeling worse.
I got the cold sweats for a few months after birth. That's very likely to be hormonal (I've actually heard taking vit D can reduce them - certainly could be the case for me as I used to be really low in vit D but now I'm on a supplement my levels are normal again). However, if it's related to body aches and pain at wound site/boobs, you'd want to get checked to make sure the cold sweats are not fever symptoms related to an infection... Hope you start to feel better soon... Also remember a C section can take ages to heal... There are some wonderful stories of women feeling fine a week later, but that's not the norm! I had vaginal births and I pretty much felt like a truck had hit me for the first 3 or 4 weeks, and still took another 4 weeks after that for ALL the pain to stop...
