Any amount of alchol will affect the baby regardless of what the drs say there have not been that many studies done to prove otherwise. Again though it is you body and your baby so it is your choice what u do but please read up on FASD before you do. It will open your eyes to the verying effects of drinking while pregnant. My sister my self and my brother all have FASD( fetal alchol spectrum disorder) to a different degree depending on how much and how often our mother drank while pregnant with each of us. The reason it is called spectrum disorder is because the symptoms range from ADD to autisum to turetes to bipolar disorder. So please look into all your options and make your own choices but know the facts too.

I used to live in Ireland, maybe thats where my relaxed attitude comes from regarding this.
Europeans have more relaxed attitudes about a lot that americans are uptight about.
I miss Ireland sometimes, the full frontal nudity on tv after 9pm was interesting for sure lol

I Am French. For My First Pregnancy, My Doctor Suggested I Have A Glass Of Red Wine Every Night. My Mother, GrandMother, The BaKer Down The Street Etc All Said To. I Have My Son, He Is Almost Five, No Defects Or Learning Disabilities, Like Every Other French Child. We Move To The USA. I Was Shocked When My Ob Here Says It Is Ok Because Americans Take An Aggressive Stance On Alcohol While Pregnant.

What u eat & drink goes to ur baby. So u'll feed ur baby wine when its born? Since its ok?? I don't think so.

I personally see no problem in a rare glass of wine, but everyone has their own opinions. There are only studies that show alcoholism causes birth defects. Each doctor has their own opinions on this as well...

My doctor told me yes. Ive had 2 doctors tell me occasional wine was fine. No getting drunk though!
I said "is it true no amount of alcohol is safe during pregnancy?" He says " light drinking is fine, but everyone has a different idea of what light is so most people say to avoid it 100%"
I have said this to people and they say "dont trust everthing your dr. Says" then when I complain about the dr any other time its..."trust your dr"

So personal preference for sure. Im sure a glass here and there is fine. My doctor isnt perfect but he has 13 yrs of schooling and experience that I dont. I tend to trust him more often than not.

I have a glass of wine but I limit it to one a day. I don't do it every day but I don't see anything wrong with it. Other countries are cool with it n research is pointing to it being okay. There's all these rules to being pregnant n while most are legit some r a bit much

Probably because there are antioxidants in it but there are other things out there just as beneficial without the alcohol in it. This seems to be a hot topic and some say its ok but me personally won't drink while pregnant cuz u just cant be sure

I wouldn't say it's good by any means. Any amount of alcohol can cause birth defects. Some people say a glass won't hurt but I wouldn't risk it
