Im 16 and my boyfriend is 17. We have unprotected sex every once in a while and never really think anything of it. Im 5 days late and had slight spotting around those 5 days. I do not have my license yet and don't want to scare my boyfriend by asking him to bring me to the store so I can buy a pregnancy test. My dad is really strict and I don't vwant to disappoint my momma. Could I be pregnant and how do I get a pregnancy test without being suspicious?
I agree. Birth control is important. Look into spermicide if you don't want to use condoms. But condoms are best!! A baby isn't the worst thing that could result from unprotected sex at 16. Good luck to you.

I have an obgyn appointment coming up soon. Do you think I should just wait until then and ask my doctor if she can give me a test?
I agree with all the comments. My boyfriend and I didn't always use protection and now I'm 8weeks pregnant. It just comes with the territory. You probably wouldn't test positive now anyways so wait a week then tell him to get one. He should have some knowledge of it being a possibility anyways, he's 17.
Well it will freak him out and if it comes back negative now u guys will have a chance to talk about birth control or something that way u guys won't freak out about being pregnant anytime soon
Why do females always have to carry the stress when it comes to these issues? I say tell him to pick up the test. He shouldn't have a problem with it. You both knew getting pregnant was a possibility. If he has any issues with supporting you, it's better for you to know now than when you really need him to be there if you are really pregnant.
I understand, but I'd rather not cross that bridge right now. Id rather freak him out with the real thing than freak him out and it not be positive and end up being like the boy who cried wolf
You should also probably get over the whole freaking boyfriend out thing BC If its positive don't you think that's going to freak him out anyway? Not trying to sound like a jerk just looking at the big picture.
Ya I'd wait a week then have a friend buy it going have to do it one way or another..invest in condoms too having unprotected sex equals risking getting pregnant only u can choose wat to do
No I mean time alone whether its from him or family. I obviously get time alone WITH him
How do you find time to have sex then? Instead of worrying yourself sick over this, wait another week or so (stress does cause irregular periods and delays in your cycle) and the next time you get some spare time alone, get one.
I never talk to my guidance consoler. I might be able to go get it alone, I just rarely have time alone and it would be suspicious for me to want to go o a walk by myself
Why don't you just ask your boyfriend to buy it for you? You say y'all have unprotected sex every now and then, so that means y'all have to use condoms some time or another.. ask him to buy you some tests and invest in more condoms too. It's a perfect chance for him to really give you his support.
I'm 17 and I was worried about the same thing. You could either ask him to take you to the store to buy something else and get it well your there. Or tbh you need to just suck it up and ask him because either way you guys need to know. So you guys can talk about options before it's too late.
