Almost two weeks late, negative hpts, feel bloated, help?

Hi everyone, I just need some been-there advice. I was due for my period Mar 20th. I missed a pill that weekend. I had unprotected sex with my husband that whole week. The next day, I had cramping as if I was about to get my period and it lasted all week. I took a test the 25th, 26th, and 30th, all negative hpts. On the 31st, after working out, I had some discharge with brownish spotting. I wiped and it was gone afterwards. I stopped taking the pill after the 31st just in case I MIGHT be pregnant. The next day I had a big increase in appetite that lasted all week to today. I took a test on Apr 3rd but it was negative. Today, marks the 21st day my period was due. I started having slight cramps and a really faint tingling sensation in my breasts. I took a test this morning and it was negative. Needless to say, I have wasted money on a bunch of tests. I wonder what's going on. I have been feeling bloated since Mar 19th when my period was due. And I just "feel" there something. Any advice? I have my doc's appointment for the 14th. I just need someone to talk to since I live in a pretty remote area. Thank you for reading.

I've heard the same as well. With my daughter my symptoms were strong at 3 weeks and my test showed up BFP at 5 weeks. So I suppose you are correct. Would that apply regardless of how many other pregnancies you've had? I wonder.

What are you planning to do next? I have one more test left but I don't want to see a BFN again. This morning I woke up with nausea, which is what I've had since the week AF was due.

Apparently it can take some women a while past 5 weeks before it shows up on a test due to the hcg not being as strong yet. Differs from pregnancy to pregnancy. I'm actually in the same boat as you, except im 8 days late. With my other 2 pregnancies it showed up as BFP at 5 weeks. Inpatient ly waiting for answers :/
