Am I pregnant or my body just being slow

Hey guys, so I was told I would never get pregnant again in 2016 so it was huge shock when I took a pregnancy test on the 19/04 this year and it came back positive after being 3 days late! Unfortunately things were not meant to be and I lost the baby at 10 weeks on 30th May, I was heartbroken. I went to the hospital had a scan and test to make sure my hormone levels were normal and everything was gone, I had a period roughly 4/5 weeks after the miscarriage which was normal 5 day flow. Now this is where I am freaking out because I am now due on my period I am 6 days late! I took a test at 3 days late but it came back negative, my period was due 29/07. I hate being in limbo and not knowing whether I could be pregnant after everything has happened or be disappointed that I am not, or is there something else going on? Anybody got any advice or help I would really appreciate it.

First, very sorry to hear about your miscarriage.  Truly.  That's always so hard.  It sounds like everything got back on track or appeared to but there is a chance that your hormones are still adjusting to things.  It's not uncommon to be a little irregular after a miscarriage.  While the pregnancy hormone is gone, your other hormones are rebalancing.  Even though you got your period already after the miscarriage, this still could be true.  I would wait one full week and test again if your period doesn't start or is abnormal. There IS always the off chance that you tested too early.  Lots of women are actually a bit more fertile than usual after a miscarriage and the body is ripe for pregnancy again.  So, some do find becoming pregnant very easy after miscarriage.  But it also could simply be a late month for you.  It happens.  So, wait a week and test and come back and tell us!  hugs
