Can stress delay your period?

Can stress delay your period? i keep finding 2 different answers, some say yes but others say that if ovulation happened on time then no matter what your period starts 14 days later. Im 2 days late for my period, im usually very regular so im VERY nervous!

Thanks you both soooo much! I finally started.... Its a bit more uncomfortable then my usual periods but im just do glad it started!

I have been 28 days late before. My periods tend shift throughout the year a lot of the reason was due to stress. So take it easy and it will come in time.
