Brown discharge after period?

I'm sexually active and before my period started last week I was 10 days late (which is not normal for me) and I was experiencing pregnancy symptoms so I took a pregnancy test on the 9th day and it was negative. Then I finally got my period and it lasted for 8 days (not normal for me either) but its been four days since I've stopped my period but these four days I've had this weird discharge. It varies in color from brown to darker brown but it also has these small chunks of fleshyness. This has never happened before and I thought it would've stopped but these chunks have gotten bigger since the four days prior and each time I use the restroom this discharge comes out in big amounts. Any ideas?

Oh good, I'm glad you are headed to the doctor!  Come back and tell us what they said.  Lots of luck to you!

Thank you for your reply it means alot! But no it does not itch. I was honestly thinking a miscarriage also but I thought maybe I was going crazy because I've never been pregnant nor had a miscarriage before so I am glad to see your thinking the same way. And yes I am planning on seeing my doctor if it is still happening today because so far it hasn't this morning. Thank you so much! :-)

Hi there dear.  Welcome to the forum.  Well, Could you possibly have been pregnant and having a chemical (which means super early) miscarriage??  Brown discharge is usually old blood.  The chunks are odd too.

Can you go to your doctor about this dear?  That might be the best thing at this point.  Especially if this continues.

Does it itch at all?  (curious, just want to rule out yeast)
