I had sex the day before my period came, I used a condom.  I also had unprotected sex about two weeks after my period.  I want to know the chances of me getting pregnant the day before my period, or can you get pregnant the day before your period.

To ease most peoples thoughts here are the general Facts about a normal 28 day cycle.

If you are worried you will become pregnant after having unprotected sex before a day of your scheduled Period you should be fine. HOWEVER, this depends on if you actually correctly tracked your ovulation day and not just rely on the day 14 myth. Yes normally most people have ovulation day on day 14th but its not accurate, some people have ovulation day early or later then the 14th. This is the main reason why most people say it's not a 0% chance and you have a chance of pregnancy everytime you have unprotected sex. Its not because there is a chance just because there is, it's because it's very hard to track ovulation day and it can be iffy. ( I advise you to look up natural family planning)

More information on ovulation, you are usually only fertile about 2-4 days of the month aka the day you ovulate. You only release and egg once a month and they  usually only survive for about 1-3 Days in very rare cases you can actually ovulate more then once but this is extremely rare.
However the way people become pregnant after having sex way before ovulation is due to sperm having a lifespan for about 6 days give or take a few. AKA say you have sex day 10 of your cycle ( right after your period give or take) You can become pregnant having sperm survive in you until day 14 when your egg releases and latches on to the sperm.

LONG STORY SHORT

Don't have sex at the end of your period, on ovulation day, and 3 days after ovulation day.

SAFE DAYS TO HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX
( I still wouldn't do this.) Protection is the best way

7-10 days after Ovulation
1-3 beginning days of your period. BE WARY ABOUT THIS, it's much safer to have sex a day before your period or just day 1 of your period.

DON"T DO

Do not have sex near the end of your period or anytime after until 5 days after you have ovulated

Don't have sex ON OVULATION DAY OR A FEW DAYS BEFORE.( Highest chances of pregnancy)

I hope this eases your thoughts but just be careful, if you are VERY worried get plan b or just use condoms / birth control they aren't expensive!! ( Compared to a child )

Okay well I'm 18 and they don't teach this stuff in school .. So how do I know when Im ovulating. My period comes in goes irregular.  My last period was DEC 28 and lasted 3days. I've downloaded 2apps but they don't really helps much

i got off the nexplanon on the 3rd of NOV. and had sex the next day/night. I was having light cramps before we had sex but there was no blood. I was on the nexplanon for almost a year. I haven't had my period in months , that I cant even remember when the last time I had one. After that night we had sex I started bleeding the next day and im not bleeding as much but I can smell things really good now and also yes he did come in me but im scared that I might not be pregnant because im trying to and I don't know when to take a test.

I don't know about the whole pregnant thing but bad diseases can be spread if you go from anal to vaginal sex! So be careful! :)

Hi so im 17, and my boyfriend and i had protected sex 42 days ago the day right after my last period, it was both our firsts. We've had sex three more times since then too, all using a condom. i marked the day i had my period on one of thoses period apps, and that was the first time i actually marked it. Sept 13 was theday my period ended and sept 15 was the actually day we had sex. It said on the calendar that my period was suppose to come on Oct. 5 th .. its Oct. 27th.. last night my boyfriend fingered me hoping that would help start my period! i did start bleeding after i had orgasmed. i thought that made it start so i put a tampod in right after. I took it out an hour later and there was only a little blood on it and i had stopped bleeding. i was stressed in beginning of october, but after the first week i just for got about it, so ive been super calm. every once in awhile like maybe once every 3 days i get this sharp cramp but it doesnt last that long. oh and after he fingered me and i put my tampond in, it hurt, like as if i actually started, but i didnt...should i be worried? what should i do?

I need urgent advice!! I came off the mini pill 3months ago, I had a period on 15th December which would mean my next period was due on 12th Jan.
