Do these sound like pregnancy symptoms?

I’ve taken two home tests, which came out positive.. but I have never experienced this before and am wondering if I am perhaps going out of my mind?

I’m 24 years old, fairly healthy.
The past couple of weeks I’ve noticed the following:
-I’ve been getting very hot at night.
-Dizzy spells
-Occasional nausea
-Lightheadedness
-Cramps in my lower abdominal area, similar to pre-menstrual, but they don’t last nearly as long and come and go mostly during the morning and middle of the night.
-Very frequent urinating
-Bit more intense mood swings
-Loss/Intense gain of appetite

I guess I just want to know if I should schedule an appointment and get tested..

Well, as long as you used the pregnancy test correctly (didn't let it sit too long as they will develop a second line when sitting that is not an indication of pregnancy but is an evaporation line)---  as long as you followed the directions, two pregnancy tests are pretty likely to mean you are pregnant.

Symptoms vary from woman to woman but those sound like what a lot of women have.  My doctor doesn't see pregnant women until weeks 8 or 9.  You can call and set an appointment though. Congrats!

Thank you! I’ve taken another one this morning... still positive. All three showed positive within 45 seconds. I think I’ll go ahead and get a blood test done.
Congratulations! Many would say a blood test is an unnecessary expense. Your signs with tests are pretty conclusive. False positive home tests are pretty much unheard of. This would be a result of sexual exposure a couple of weeks before your anticipated period. Weeks of pregnancy are weeks since your last normal period, assuming a 28 day cycle. I second specialmom in the opinion that your doc would be happy to see you once you have missed a second period.
