Could I be pregnant?

So im currently on the 2 month contraceptive injection... I am also a breastfeeding mother but recently weaned baby off the breast as I had to go and work. My boyfriend and I used protection the last time we were active butbthe condom broke. I bought a morning after pill only a day after a 24hr one as it was all I could afford,I got my period last month December the 8th... I did not get it for the month of Jan but now im spotting for 3 days and the blood looks old and brown? Im also under an immense amount of stress at the moment as I just started a new job. Theres a variety of possibilities and I dont know what it could be,I just wang to know if it could be pregnancy?  Another thing is,when the spotting started my breasts became tender and I started feeling very bloated. What could this mean?

Hi there.  I'm going to say that I doubt you are pregnant.  But not at all surprised you are having an irregular cycle.  The morning after pill works well and the way it works is that it is a big dose of hormones.  Those hormones upset things and this includes your cycle for the next 2 to 3 months after.  That's very common.  You can always get a home pregnancy test to find out for sure too but am guessing it's the pill.  Not to mention hormonal fluctuations and you discontinue breast feeding, etc.  Take a test to be sure but do not think you'll get a positive.  Good luck to you!
