Help ... I'm flipping out

Okay, so I'm a couple of days late on my period and I always have my period when it's due. I have been peeing a lot more than usual .. I had very little light brown blood when I wiped this morning, and I only have it when I wipe sometimes. It's not consistent or heavy. I took one HPT a couple of hours ago and it came back negative, but I heard that light brown blood could be implantation bleeding and is the earliest sign of pregnancy. Does anyone know what this could mean? Could I be pregnant even with a negative result? Are my hCG levels too low for the test to detect?

I test with first response hpt. 6 days before my miss period. I got a very faint positive. Had my ultrasound I'm 6 weeks now.

Give it a few more weeks to test again. Chances are its too early to read your hCG levels.

Well spotting could also mean your period is on it's way, as spotting before is common. If it doesn't show up in another week or so, then test again.
