Is late period after medical abortion normal

Hi.. i had last menstruation cycle on 6th dec 2017.. post this i got pregnant. On 13th jan 2018 i took a medical abortion. This entire process included a trnure of bout one and a half months ie till 22nd feb 2018 where i had spotting because my doc told me that there were some tissues left behind which is why the pills were repeated again in that tenure. Luckily on 23rd feb 2018 i got my menses which lafted for 7 days ie till 2nd march 2018. Today is 26th march 2018 and i still have not got my periods. I took a pregnancy test ar home and it shows negative. What is really happening here

Yes, a late period is definitely normal.  You also may bleed heavier when you do finally have a period.  Hormones shift a lot first for pregnancy and then when the pregnancy is ended.  I would not worry.  Did you get a check up after?  I'd consider one more check up to make sure all is well but this seems to be a fairly normal pattern post abortion.  good luck hon
