Missed Period, Light bleeding, Negative test?

I am 17 days late on my period. I stopped taking my birthcontrol last month (February). The day I was suppose to start my period, I had light brown bleeding that only lasted only a couple days and it was only noticeable when I wiped. I took a test 3 days later, it was negative. About 4 or so days ago I started having light bleeding, I put in a tampon but when I went to change it, nothing. I am only bleeding in the mornings about 7-8 am. I just took another test and it was still negative? I'm going to take another with my first morning urine. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is happening? I have read some people don't test positive until 3 months? I'm not really sure what is going on and I'm starting to stress. :/

Hi, i am currently new to this. I'm currently in need of some answers. I'm currently up to date with all my periods each month. I've never missed my period. November 29th i was supposed to start my period end of not starting that month 8 days later I started to bleed like if I was getting my period it only last me two days on the third day I was coming off it look like reddish brownish kind of color im having symptoms of pregnancy and kind of worried at the same time only because of me bleeding I am starting to feel tenderness around my breast. I currently had 4 pregnancy test come out negative. nothing seems to answer my questions just hoping one of you can answer them for me I have gone to dr which they took blood out of me I also had morning sickness but not anymore please if anybody knows what's going on let me know thank you

Right, my morning hpt was negative too. My husband said alright its final, you're not pregnant. So im waiting till I'm suppose to get my next period. It's annoying to only bleed in the morning though, and not know why. :/

My friends think I'm crazy.. They're like you've taken 4 tests and one from a doctor they're all negative! You're not pregnant.. Until I get my period or a blood test I'm not buying it. Lol

Yes, I have a friend at work who stopped taking her bc the same I did and she's pregnant already with 3 positive hpt. I'm so excited and jealous! Ha. But I wish it was that easy. I have had light cramping on and off today, it feels like a pinching feeling. I'm just keeping my fingers crosses. It's good to know though that I am not alone. I have looked at probably a hundred posts!

Same boat! Stopping bc can cause a delayed period.. But also can cause pregnancy. I just missed my second period and am going to retest. I keep getting negatives too.. My friend on these forums just got her positive after her second missed period. So who knows. Blood tests are more accurate
