I need a positive urine thru er before i can get my insurance to cover any prenatal care including the initial pregnancy labs.otherwise i have to pay out of pocket
Then I don't know what else to tell you. A blood test is more accurate than a urine test.
I agree.
Was looking for someone whos either experienced this same thing or just some encouraging words.
But thanks for your comment ☺
This happened to me and I had a chemical pregnancy or very early miscarriage. I took multiple early detection home tests (positive) then a week later went to the doctor and got two negative tests. This may not be the case with you though
It took a week after the negative tests before I started to bleed too.
The ones you took at home, w1s it with morning pee? And the one at the er with later in the day pee? That could be why the one at the er did not turn positive.
It that is what happened, take another one at home with morning pee, if still positive, try going to the er without peeing in the morning so the test at the er is with morning pee. Hope it all turns out ok...
I had the same problem 3weeks ago, and Sunday I went in and told them I was vomiting (which was a little fib, I was just nauseous) and I told them my stomach pain was intolerable an the first thing they did was take 2 viles of blood then they did a urine test, both came back (+).... I maybe your hcg level wasn't strong enoug, sending baby dust your way. Good luck :)
I had the same problem but got a blood test n it was positive some problems showing in the urine can be from ur health problem or medicine ur taking . when i got pregnant with my daughter couple months before that it was showing postive test
Thank you ladies for the insights and telling me your experiences.
I will go to er again early tomorrow am before i pee and see if that helps!
Good luck and keep us posted :)
