My period is a month and 4 days late but negative pregnancy tests, am i pregnant?

My period is a month and r days late but yet I'm having negative hot. I have a few pregnancy symptoms but i don't know if its just me and its all in my head or what. This would be my first pregnancy so i don't know what's going on or how I'm suppose to feel. I just know my period has never been this late. My periods was irregular but after i got off the pill they became regular and now I'm a month and 4 days late. My last period was July 6th, 2016 and I was suppose to have hit it around August 3rd-7th like it has been since i got off the pill but haven't hit it since then. First test i used was a 88 cent one you get from Wal-Mart and the second one was the clear blue digital one but both was negative. I'm not stressed out or nothing to make my period late. All i can think is pregnancy. Which i don't know if i am or not. Can somebody atleast give me an idea of what's happening or going on. Pleaseeeee
