Pregnant? Please help

Hi! I’m 24, and weight 312lbs. Was 345 but I’ve been working on it and that’s where I’m at as of now. I’ve had had Nexplanon for 3yrs (well it’ll be 3yrs next month)....I recently had sex with my bf and the condom broke...does anyone know the effectiveness of nexplanon in overweight women? Since it expires next month does it really not work anymore? Or do they actually last five years? Or should women take them out after 3yrs? Because I’m overweight does it work less or run out faster? I’ve started getting my periods again but I read that could happen around like the 3rd year or does that mean it’s not working anymore?

Kinda freaked. Stressed. Please help! Thanks!

Hi. I really apologize for not seeing this sooner.  First, congrats on the weight loss!!  That's fantastic. How are you doing it, if I may ask?!  I am going to work on the same thing.  There is a diet and weight loss group here that I'm going to visit, you should too.  :>)  Second, I'd think that by now you are able to tell me what ended up happening. Here's my guess . . . your nexplanon worked fine.  You didn't get pregnant.  Is that right?
