I have never had regular periods, so I never know when they are coming, my question is I had unprotected sex then started my period the next day is it possible to be pregnant? I've read multiple things with different answers

There is always a possibility, but chances are a lot lower than say having sex the day after your period ends.

What a lot of people don't realize is you HAVE to be ovulating to get pregnant. And normally you ovulate 2 weeks after the day your period started. Sperm can live inside you for I think up to 5 days so it's possible to have unprotected sex and get pregnant. But from the timing you just said where your period just starting the day after, I don't think there is a chance you can be pregnant. I would get something to try and track your ovulation or get ovulation tests if you are trying to get or avoid getting pregnant.
