Stopped birth control... two periods in one month, be the next

Alright y'all,

So I used to be on the NuvaRing BC.. And was on it for almost 5 years...

Well I took it out for good on September 23, 2016.. And for the month of october, I got my period but at a different time as normal, but like I said, I still got it...

THEN, the month of November 2016, I got two periods that month. The first one was the 11th-15th... then the second one was the 25th-28th...

BUT, for the month of December 2016, I didn't get my period. So I took a HPT and obviously it was NEGATIVE..

And now, it's January 2017, and if I have a period this month, it should come around the week of the 15th OR the week of the 22nd!

So, my question is...

1. Could I possibly be pregnant? Or could it just be from my birth control being out?

2. I plan on taking a test in the morning, but if I wake up in the middle of the night having to pee, can I go ahead and take the test and it be just as accurate as when I get up in the morning for the day?
Also to add, if it shows up negative tomorrow, I'm going to wait and see if I get my period this month and if not, I'm going to the Doctor.

I don't know how to edit this, but I just noticed that autocorrect messed it up and it was meant to say "stopped birth control... two periods in on month... But no period the next month"
