Should I test or not?

Ok for you that have been responding to my post. I only bled off and on for about 56 hrs. My normal periods are  heavy bleeding with the changing of pads 3 or 4 times a day. Then it slowly tappers to nothing from day 3-5. When I woke up this morning the pad I had put on fresh before I went to bed was completely clean. I really thought I was pregnant before bleeding started and had had a very very faint positive test Friday. So do you think I could still be pregnant or was this just a very odd light period? I called dr's office yesterday and they said wait a half a week to a week and test, but curious if you ladies think I should take a test in the morning? I meant to this morning but got up and peed before I realized what I was doing. All comments welcome!

It doesn't seem like a waste if it will put your mind at ease, either way.

I don't want to waste the test I have, if no one feels I should even bother. I am just seeking opinions. And anyone else with the same experience.
