hcG levels

My last regular period was may 12..so around June 12 I expected my period..finally on June 20 I started spotting and it continued until July 1..so I went to doctor and had a positive pregnancy test..he referred me to a gynecologist..went to that appt on July 7 and they done an ultrasound and couldn't see anything so they sent me to get my hcG levels tested..that was a Monday..they were 2,400..then tested again 48 hrs later on Wednesday..they were down to 1600..so he told me to get them test again the next Wednesday..a week later..they went up to 1,800.. I took a home prego test and it was still positive on July 19.. I went back for another ultrasound on July 23 and he still didn't see anything..so sent me to get levels test again and they are back down a little at 1,600..I am having all the signs..vomiting in the morning..sore boobs..fatigue..I have spotted a little on and off the whole time..I just really want some advice to what could be going on..my husband and I really want another baby..so please help me..I'm suppose to go get levels tested again in 2 weeks and see where they are going..

Hopefully u will continue. To maintain this pregnancy. However, if it was a miscarry, u will still get positive tests results until ur HCG levels goes back down to 5. When I miscarried at 15 wks, it took a whole for my levels to get back down to zero. I had to keep on getting them checked for. Little whole tho just to make sure that they were decreasing. Good luck.

He told me that he can't see anything on the ultrasound..that it looks like from my levels maybe its clearing itself up..but i keep getting positive pregnancy test at home and the symptoms are increasing..I guess a little part of me is hoping I am going to keep this baby..I really don't know..might just have to wait and see
