im confused could this be implantation or just early period

hi im new at this here I am 34 married and my hubbie and i have been ttc for a really long time now its been about 2 and a half maybe 3 years :( still no outcome. anyway here is my question I had a miscariage about 14 years ago.... i met my husband 5 and a half yr ago. my husband and i have being ttc for a long time now i went to a doc he put me on clomid to get my period started again as i have been told by another doc that i had a touch or pocs so i was on clomid for about 6mths then I stopped taking them by my own choice, my partner got tested for infertility and found his count was low so the doc at the time gave him a hormonal shot to boost it that was roughfully 3 mths ago.... he was supposed to get it done again but cause he works late nights he hasn't had the chance to go back anyway. i'm usualy on a 28 day cycle the last time i had my period was on the 3rd of sept 2012 it was a normal cycle iv'e been  using a calender to track my cycle so on that it says i was fertile from the 12th to 17th sept we did tango on the 12th,14th & 16th which i believe its in the right timing the day after the 17th sept my ovulation day i had really sensitive nipples the next day was the sensitive nip and tender breasts i had the sens nips and tender breasts up till the 20th then just tender breasts untill the 28th. now here's the confusing part i started spotting on the 24th it was brownish in color on my pad and when i wiped it was nothing much unless i went in a lill deeper it was light red blood this continued to happen for a further 4 days so in total it was 5 i spotted/ light bleeding- period i was due for my reg cycle on the first of oct and haven got them i have done hpt tests on 25th 27th sept both neg so i took one this morning being the second oct and still neg could any one help me on this as its very discouraging for myself an my hubbie could it be implantation bleeding and be pregnant or was that just a change in my cycle and i got my period a week early please help did i test too early

It sounds like you had an off cycle. sorry. implantation bleeding is pink in color or brownish red. It usually lasts 1-3 days oh and it does not have a flow.
