rite aid pregnancy test reading

I had a miscarriage and my pregnancy levels were at zero almost 10 weeks ago. I have not gotten my period yet and have been feeling awful so I decided to take a home pregnancy test from Rite Aid. I purchased the early pregnancy test. The way this one works is there is an OVAL and a CIRCLE. For the test to be negative, there should be a single line in the OVAL. For it to be positive, there needs to be a single line in BOTH the oval and circle. My test only showed a single line in the CIRCLE, but nothing in the oval. What does this mean? I obviously need to take another test but am concerned what this result means. thank you!

I do have the insert at home. It said if there were NO lines it was inconclusive, but nothing about a line in the circle and nothing in the oval. The way it reads, for it to be positive, there should be a line in each opening. I will be taking another one tonight, hoping it is more conclusive. thanx!

The package insert should tell you what that means - it sounds like it was inconclusive and you need to take another test?

I know in other pregnancy tests,  there are instructions that if you get a specific reading it means the test was damaged or not done correctly.

Do you still have the package insert instructions?
