Are you in any form prepared for a child? It's not just a fleeting thought, children are extremely HARD and demanding work. Do you intend to marry this person, do you have a VERY reliable income, your own vehicle, insurance on yourself and that vehicle. Can you pay for ER visits, doctor bills, furniture, etc etc. Can you support YOU and another human being with no one else helping, or the government? If you can't, you have no business having children until you can.
Babies grow up, and they grow up fast. You need to be prepared for very long nights, illness, nonstop screaming, and the chance that your relationship won't make it through that. Many teenager relationships barely survive, let alone adding the stress of children to it. If you really want one, take longer than just a "talk" about it. Go through your finances and MAKE SURE you have at least 1,000+ EXTRA to support a child and prepare for if something happens. IE your car breaks, you need to buy something, ER and emergency bills, etc etc.
Your not 18 and you trying for a kid? To me that sounds like a horrible idea. I have many friends who had kinds between the ages of 14 and 18 and they ALL wish they had waited. They all live with their parents and are stuck. I mean there are exceptions.. but your not mentally mature or financially mature enough.. Good luck to you though...Youll need it.. I know 1 friend out of 10 who had kinds under 18 whos kids father is still in there life..and there not together anymore...
But I mean..to each there own. just a warning. Not that youll listen, at 17 you think you know everything lmao
i stopped taking it bc i wanting to have a kid.. the reason i started to take it was because my parents asked me to but i moved out so i stopped taking it.. my bf and i discussed it more bout having a kid and we decided to try for one
You're bleeding because you just randomly stopped taking it. It's not meant to be stopped and started, especially in such a short span of time. Why is it you stopped? Was there an actual reason, or you just don't like it? Either way, you're also risking pregnancy. You need to either start taking it again, AND you need to be using condoms at all times---regardless of if you start it again.
can you please read my other forum... please and give your input... thanks for your input too :) it helps out
Sounds like it's due to the birth control. The way it works is it tricks your body into thinking it's pregnant. You have to remember ALL birth controls (minus the Paragard IUD) are hormonal and as such they can ALL cause "pregnancy symptoms". You have to give it time for your body to become used to it. You also need to make sure you use condoms 110% of the time for the next month as the BC takes affect in your body--if you don't you risk pregnancy.
i've been on bc for less than one week.. but i think im gonna stop it bc i have many pains around my abdominal and pelvic area...
If you were pregnant and feeling those your test would show up positive. Regardless of how many women claim to have periods while pregnant, they're impossible. To have a true period involves shedding the uterine lining the fertilized egg implants into-- so if you shed this while pregnant, you would miscarry. Remember, bleeding DOES NOT mean it's a period. It means you're bleeding.
As for your symptoms, it MIGHT be pregnancy but it's more likely due to your BC. You need to remember as well that it's hormonal and more or less works by tricking your body into thinking you're pregnant. How long have you been on it for?
