As far as i know, you are stuck with spd until birthonce it occurs, although it ges easier in some women when the head starts engaging. However, any pain that affects you like that is definately worth getting checked out.

Pain could also be due to your uterus stretching again, i've had additional pain the last week which the midwife said was things moving in there again. If you are constipated at all that can have an effect on difficulty bending as it makes it so very uncomfortable putting any pressure on the bump which won't help

Hope that is helpful in some way

well i have had the odd braxton hicks but nothing to bad i have noticed his kicking is slowing down so hopefully he will be ready to be born in a few weeks my feet are swollen and i have really bad discharge TMI but its annoying me so much i feel i have to change my underwear about 6 times a day no joke but with all the moaning it will soon be over holding my wee boy so i can handle the pain for another 4 weeks.

Not a single contraction. I have had mild cramping like I'm about to start my period, but everytime it happens it seems my belly just sticks out there even more. I've carried her high the entire pregnancy, plus she was head up until 32 weeks. So now that she's head down the lower part of my belly is trying to accomidate her.

I get the burning crouch feeling, but only when she's grinding her head, or if I'm walking for more than an hour (like shopping).  I'm getting so excited to meet my little girl!

I had an u/s yestureday and my little girl is growing great!  She's 5lbs 7oz already, so I guess the cord problems aren't and issue.  How is everyone else feeling.  I am feeling a lot of contractions already, but I don't think they are doing anything.  I just think it's because it's my second pregnancy and I notice things a lot better.  How is everyone else doing and feeling?

Okay that answers my question... I'm 33 weeks right now but I was asking because I had an excrutiating pain that did last for a couple days that everytime I tried to move it made me double over and it has happened more than once so I was just curious to see what you meant... The pain was really bad when I tried to put on my shoes or pants and socks and when I sat down or got up and even when I went to get into the car but it finally went away and it only happened again once after that but I've been okay up til now.. Thanks for the info, would you recommend if I had it again to call the dr asap??

You will have a feeling of pressure down there once the baby's head starts engaging in the pelvis. If you have spd (symphasis pubic dysfunction)/pelvic girdle pain, like i have and i presume tracey21 does, you'd definately know about it. It is when the pelvic joint isn't held together properly during pregnancy so grinds together as it moves, some women have to use crutches or a stick due to it.

The pain is excrutiating, and is particularly bad if you lift a leg up (including during walking, and trying to lift a leg to put lower clothes on in sitting), move your legs apart (ie twisting to get out of the car), and turning in bed. It is also at its worse when you first stand up from sitting (especially if you've sat for long or on a hard seat), or if you've done too much in standing/walking.

If thi is what you have, you want to be getting a physio referral asap. How far along are you?

I have 7 weeks left!!

I am ready to meet my little Isabelle. I know she's just going to be as cute as can be! We will be painting this week and then I'll finish decorating her room! Right now everything is in the crib. . . .all of her clothes and things people have bought her. I feel horrible that it isn't done yet. I have been making her a blanket, but decided to finish that when I'm too uncomfortable to stand up.

SNOW DAY!!!! Wow it is in the 90's here today!

Wow...you ladies are all almost there...I've got 7 more weeks (I'm 33w so that would be 7 more till 40)...I'm getting anxious!  I bet you are all so anxious too, being that much closer than I am!

Still haven't gotten baby's room painted...but for the most part it is all arranged and just needs the final touches (make the crib up, put shelves on walls, put up a few decorations...one more load of baby clothes to wash...I'll probably do that today since I am home on a snow day...best make good use of it!)

I've got about 5 1/2 weeks and can't wait also!  I think I'm starting to dilate already, I had a little bit of bloody show today.  But for me that doesn't mean much, lol.  I was already 4cm and 75% effaced @ 38 weeks with my daughter and still went up to my due date.  I just feel the braxton hicks contractions alot more this time then I did the first time, and I have the pelvic pressure this time and didn't last time.  I always made fun of the women that waddled during pregnancy.  I thought they we're doing in on purpose to get attention, because I didn't do it with my first pregnancy.  Now I'm the one that waddles because my hips hurt so bad, and can't help it.  Sorry to all those women I made fun of before, LOL!  We're all in the home strech now, what have you guys got done now?  I've been so tired that I haven't got much done until this weekend.

GL to you lady's and I hope all of our labors are very quick and easy!

i'm in the same sitution, 4 1/2 weeks to go and can't wait to be free of pain, as it should be relieved after labour. I hope you have a quick easy labour, but if not at least its brings the end to weeks and weeks of chronic pain :o)
